Good News for Volkswagen

Its good news once again for Volkswagen, as now its Golf has, once again, been awarded a best in its class, this time in two categories by Auto Express.

The annual Auto Express New Car Awards compares and contrasts the latest and greatest cars and vans in the market. It dosent matter if the car is fresh off the line, or already proven to be worthy of the awards.
Its for that reasons that for a second consecutive year, the Volkswagen Golf has easily taken the ‘Best Compact Family Car’ achievement.

Auto Express editor in chief David Johns said: “With its classy looks, high-quality cabin and executive car refinement, the Volkswagen still sets the standard. Better still, it’s great to drive, excellent value and has a brilliant range of engines – including innovative turbocharged TSI petrol units.”
Volkswagen should be proud of its Golf, being one of the most widen sold product Volkswagen has ever created. The Gold has even surpassed the sale record of the original Volkswagen Beetle, racking up figures of over 27 million sales worldwide since it s début back in 1974.

Lets not forget the other award that went to another iconic VW, the Volkswagen Golf GTI, with 33 years having passed since the was introduced, it remains the benchmark in its class. Taking home the title of ‘Best Hot Hatch’ amongst fierce competition from newer models.
