Not Using the Net

When looking for a bargain before going on holiday words like Best Deal and Savings instantly come to mind. Personally I hate the idea of going on holiday with a all inclusive deal on the table, I can’t see the fun of having a holiday which revolves around eating meals in the same restaurant everyday, 3 meals a day. Sure It might work out to be potentially cheaper but surely its not a holiday.

When some people go on holiday the decide occaisionally as my parents did on their last holiday to rent a car in Spain, which is known for having fairly good roads and even roads which you need a car to drive on. When they came to actually look for the ‘deal’ I was slightly shocked and kinda worried, as with many of their generation, the word of a brochure leaflet seems to trump ‘looking around’ or even intuition. What deal they had with the local car rental remains a mystery to me, however I am thinking now ” I wish they had asked me to help”.

In the modern age of the internet, it surprises me when people don’t or even refuse to use the WWW to find the best deal on ANYTHING. There are massive savings to be made whilst using the net and as I wrote a few months ago on the question “Is Broadband Essential” I can honestly say yes.

A slight update on the issue!

When it comes to saving money on the net Price Comparison are a great way of keeping in touch with deals on products, look for tailored car rental sites say for perhaps "car hire USA" is a good search term for US car rental sites.
