Paper Handbags
In terms of fashion immersing itself once again into the dubious world of “eco”, comes this new twist on handbags – a paper handbag, which has all the good looks that potentially come with owning the coveted bags of this world.
Launched at Paris Fashion week, the bags are made entirely of synthetic paper in a fruitful collaboration between manufacturer DUPONT and Label Saskia Diez
The bags are ultra lightweight, super strong and water-resistant but look like design mock-ups. The material is produced by Luxembourg based manufacturer DUPONT© and later on processed by specialists in several sites in Germany. After a long time of usage the bags are fully recyclable like ordinary PE shopping bags.
The production of the 36×20×41cm 115gram tote bag and the 49×25×32cm 135 gram weekender has just started.
They will be available in selected shops from end of April onwards and in the online showroom of Saskia Diez:

Wooo! Good idea, but when you know that whatever the size of their handbags, girls always manage to fill them up to the maximum; and when you see the size of that one, isn’t it surely going to break after a few days, or even a few minutes?
