Ask any woman, anywhere, and she’ll tell you that there’s no such thing as making Valentine’s Day plans too soon. The sooner you get started on putting your master plan together, the more unique and special you can make her day. If you want to impress your loved one with more than dinner in a fancy restaurant, here are some date and gift ideas to get you started.

A Good Morning Valentine Treat

If you’re really into impressing your loved one this year, why not get Valentine’s Day started the right way with breakfast in bed? Or, for those who are a bit strapped for time in the mornings, consider getting her favourite specialty coffee and bring it to her in bed with a present that she can wear for the rest of the day, like Freya lingerie (I found a great selection at Bras Galore). She’ll feel sexy all day and will have no problem showing it off later.

Lunch Time Surprises

Showing up to your loved one’s workplace with flowers or another gift you know they’ll love is a great way to show her that you’ve been thinking about her. Come unannounced to take her out to lunch. Try to plan something that’s personable and that you know she’ll enjoy. For example, if she likes pizza, why not grab a bottle of bubbly and a take out pizza on your way to lunch? Drive to a nice park nearby and enjoy one another’s company. This will mean a lot more to her than simply choosing an expensive restaurant.

Enjoy the Night

Men and women both stress out far too much about what they should do to show their mate that they care. Dinner can be as simple as a home cooked meal for two in front of a fire place or by candle light. Really focus not so much on the meal as the actnvity. Try to think of something that you both enjoy. If you both enjoy photography, for example, you can take out the camera and take photos of one another together. If you played your cards right, you may be able to snap some sexy yet tasteful burlesque-style pics of her in the Freya underwear or Fantasie underwear that you gave to her earlier.

Gifts to Share

The best gift that you can give is one that you can share. A box of chocolate, massage oil, a spa day for two or a pottery class that you’ll both enjoy taking together are all great ways to heat up the romance and keep the spark alive in the relationship.
